Displaying eqipment of condition systems of a spacecraft and cosmonauts
systems.
Phazotron, thanks to development of indication means of information on the
condition of a space craft and cosmonauts, and for securing manual docking of
space crafts on orbit, offered technologies for space exploration.
Since the middle of 1960-s all manned Soviet and Russian space crafts had on
board Strelka and Simvol equipment and theirs versions manufactured by
Phazotron-NIIR. Simvol-Ts system, combined with a television channel, is used in
the service module of International Space Station (ISS) as a display station of
on-board computing system. A version of Simvol is manufactured serially for
cargo and transport space vehicles of ISS program.
A new generation of displays based on modern electronic components is being
developed.
