Ultrahigh resolution radars
Since 2000 Phazotron is developing radars for space monitoring of earth
surface. Multiband (K, X, L) ultrahigh resolution (1-3 m) small-sized
radars with the synthesized aperture antenna can be placed on small space
vehicles as well as on light airplanes and helicopters. It allow to transfer
from board not only the holographic information for its subsequent processing,
but also real time radar-tracking image.
Basic functions:
- ecological monitoring of sea and land, ice investigation
- monitoring of a vegetative cover
- monitoring of extreme situations
- recognition of natural anomalies
- monitoring of megacities and settlements
- monitoring of a condition various ground technogen objects
- control of operative conditions
- monitoring oil and gas deposits, including Arctic region (deposit of
Shtokanovskoe, Ob gulf, Yamal peninsula, etc.)
- geological and topographical radar-tracking mapping
- support of all-weather aviation application in any geographical breathes
- radar means of under-surface probing of land
- three dimensional radar images of terrestrial surface for patrolling of
difficult to access regions with oil-gas pipelines
- support of "blind" landing
of helicopters on unprepared platforms, to ships and sea platforms, in
hard weather conditions
