Airborne radars and WDCS.
Instead of developing a new type of radar for each type of an aircraft the
system of production of airborne radars and of WDCS on their basis with using a
number of basic radard and their unified components was created. It ensures
equipment and modernization of all aircraft with radars, which are in
operational service in Russian Army, and they also may be installed on aircraft
and helicopters, which had no radars before. The benefit will be several billion
roubles. Employment of Phazotron′s modern basic radar and WDCS allows to convert
a fighter into a multipurpose aircraft, so that it can attack air, ground and
surface vessel targets.
