Radars components and subsystems.
Antenna arrays
Phazotron has developed a number of unified slotted X-band antenna arrays with
various apertures. They are produced on the basis of Phazotron′s unique
soldering technology which ensures stable antenna optical characteristics.
Work is also under way on a family of unified phased antenna arrays.
The above SHF amplifiers and antennas can be supplied to customers not only in
radar packages, but also independently.

High-power microwave amplifiers.
КTo adapt its basic radars to different aircraft, Phazotron-NIIR has developed a
number of high-power multimode low-noise integrated liquid-cooled microwave
amplifiers with an average power of 1 to 2 kW and air-cooled amplifiers with an
average power of 200 to 400 W.

On-board digital computer system.
BTsVM Ts181F is intended for real time data processing, for storage and
interchange of information in structure of radio-electronic and special purpose
computer complexes, working in hard conditions of operation. BTsVM can be used
for management of radar, hydrolocator, multipurpose information displaying
systems, multiplex data transmission bus, data processing in on-board navigating
systems, WDCS. BTsVM provides data recording for the objective control of
equipment and software functioning, actions of crew. BTsVM ensures the
functioning in "hot" reservation mode.
Besides base, BTsVM Ts181F has five modifications (Ts181F1-Ts181F5). They are
distinguished by number of micro-computers, data exchange and recording
channels.
Digital signal processor
Ts501F1 is intended for real time signal processing in on-board radar stations,
working in hard conditions of operation.
Functional structure.
Input-output module provide:
- Receiving 32-digit data from ADC:
o peak speed of data receiving - 14 million readout per second;
o average speed of data receiving - 10 million readout per second;
- Interaction with master computer system through the 32 kilobytes two-port RAM.
Digital signal processor module contains:
- 12 digital 40 MHz signal processors;
- 16 Mb static RAM;
- 24 Mb flash ROM;
- RS-422A interface, providing loading programs, reading and writing program
data without program stopping, simultaneous interruption of all processors on
event in one of them.
Video processor module consist of radar-tracking imaging (RI) and graphic
representation (GR) channels.
Each channel contains:
- The microprocessor;
- 4 Mb static RAM;
- 4 x 512 Kb, two-port video RAM;
- 8 or 32 Mb flash ROM.
Video processor module provides combination of RI, GR and geographical map, on
one or two, monochrome or color, raster indicators.
